Movie suggestions 20160821

With the range of movie offerings around this time (August 2016) being fairly ordinary and with many being outright bad according to some reviews, I threw out a query to the twittersphere on what to earmark for viewing at the cinema.
I received the following:
- Ben Hur, suggested by @oberonsghost, who is yet to see it. But it has a chariot race, and that wouldn't stuff that up, would they???
- Ex Machina, suggested by @spooky_girl and seconded by @techoglot
- @spooky_girl also suggested exploring movies about music, such as Jaco and Glass: A Portrait of Philip in Twelve Parts
- Kubo and the Two Strings, which I initially took to be two movie suggestions via @asher_wolf.
- Tickled, which @LaBouledogue promises me is weird.
