I use the #hangman hashtag and the completely hanged man looks like this:

which is ten incorrect letter guesses. Failed word guesses don't contribute to the hanging of the man. The first tweeter to guess the last letter or the whole word correctly wins line honours, but recognition is always due to star performers that unveil letters without tightening the noose.

My first hosted #hangman game on twitter was held on the evening of the 28th of October 2010, for the word, pilimiction, which means the passing of hair-like bodies in the urine.
